Welcome to the Faculty of Social Sciences! Tell us a little about yourself!

– I come most recently from the Swedish Agency for Accessible Media, MTM, where I was part of an exciting development journey when the agency moved from Stockholm to Malmö in 2019 and I was one of the first to be employed in Malmö. During my 5 years at MTM, I have had many different roles: as a product owner, property manager, project manager and portfolio manager.

Before that, I worked for 10 years at the Lund University Library. There I started as a systems librarian but later came to focus on business development and staff development. This led to an interest in leadership and organisational development.

What are you looking forward to in your new job?

– I am incredibly proud and happy to have been entrusted with leading the activities at the Faculty of Social Sciences Library, and I am very much looking forward to continuing to develop the organisation together with the highly motivated and competent employees there.

What do you do outside of work?

– When I'm not working, I mostly devote myself to textile design, something I've actually previously done professionally: before I studied to become a librarian (at Lund University, of course!), I worked for 10 years as a costume designer and tailor in the theatre. I live in Malmö with my husband and teenage son and our dear black cat Lova.
