Sudden and serious situations can sometimes arise without warning. The Crisis and Disaster Management Plan of the Faculty of Social Sciences provides guidance and states the measures that are to be taken when an accident happens or when threatening or crisis situations arise at the workplace.

The faculty’s procedures in crisis situations

The aim of the Crisis and Disaster Management Plan at the Faculty of Social Sciences is to create preparedness for coherent and clear management and to develop procedures for interventions in serious events on varying scales, everything from a single department to the entire faculty.

The chief security officer recommends that all staff members ensure that their work mobile phone and/or private mobile phone number is registered in LUCAT to enable rapid dissemination of information in crisis situations. Your private details are not visible online when others search for your contact details.

Report all incidents

No incident is too small to report! Incidents could include:

  • unauthorised persons
  • damage
  • burglaries
  • theft
  • hate, threats or violence

When you report the incident you will receive help to ensure that all necessary external reports and contact are made.
