The faculty organisation
In this section you can find out more about the structure of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
The Faculty Board has overall responsibility for the all the activities at the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Boards, councils and committees
The Faculty Board delegates some of the faculty's duties to various boards and councils:

The Nominating Committee
The task of the Nominating Committee is to prepare nominations and to establish suggestions of candidates for the positions of dean and deputy dean as well as for the Faculty Board and the University Electoral College.
Under the Faculty Board, everyday management is carried out by the faculty management - dean, deputy dean, vice deans and faculty administrative director.
The faculty office provides support for faculty management and the faculty's departments in administrative matters concerning areas such as education, research, HR, finance and communication.
Department Services is a faculty-wide function that handles finance and HR administration for most of the faculty’s departments.
Graduate School administrates the faculty’s interdisciplinary programmes and courses at the Master’s level.
KOM SAM is the faculty's joint communication function which includes six of the faculty's departments. The communication function includes three department communication officers and three communication officers from the faculty office.

Networks within the faculty
The faculty office operates the following networks in order to support and develop collaboration within the faculty.
The Social Sciences Faculty Library is your faculty library. It includes Sambib in Lund and the library at Campus Helsingborg.
