Joint operation and service
The learning environments on Campus Paradis are shared by all the departments located there. This means that scheduling, the management of lock and access control systems, caretaking, cleaning and technical support are coordinated. Here, you will find information about who does what and where to find assistance.
Operational Services within the Faculty are responsible for ensuring that the operation of our shared premises and classrooms is coordinated and works well.

Premises booking and scheduling
If you wish to book shared Faculty classrooms for teaching and meetings, please contact the Faculty's booking team. Booking requests from students and student organisations are also to be submitted through the booking team. In addition to room bookings, the booking team is also responsible for the scheduling process at Campus Paradis.

Cleaning services
The Faculty purchases cleaning services from Facilities Services, part of LU Service. The cleaners keep the workplace clean according to the Faculty’s specifications. Basic cleaning is the standard service offered by Facilities Services and is designed to provide a good basic standard.

Lock and access control systems
The Faculty's access group manages the lock and access control system linked to the LU Card within Campus Paradis. This means, among other things, that they schedule buildings’ opening hours and are responsible for managing the registration of authorisations. You can also contact the access group if you need to grant someone temporary access to our premises.
Caretaking services
Each building with classrooms and study environments shared by the Faculty has jointly funded caretaking. You can contact the caretakers for assistance with:
- Rearranging furniture in classrooms and study environments
- Refilling printers with toner and paper
- Signage within the premises
- Changing lightbulbs and other light sources
- Some servicing of equipment and fittings
- Handling mail
The caretakers are also responsible for the general upkeep of the premises, furnishings, notice boards and information screens in shared premises.
Tech support in classrooms
Operational Services are responsible for purchasing, maintenance and tech support in the shared learning environments. Support and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment can also be done in collaboration with the Division of IT.
This shared service also includes setting up technology for conferences and events as well as providing tech support during the event where necessary.
Operational Services also have suitable equipment for video conferences and the like available for loan.
Building supervisors
The overall responsibility of the building supervisor is to coordinate and manage issues relating to the building's premises, work environment and health and safety, including fire safety. The role also acts as a liaison between the property owner and the organisations in the building. Building supervisors are part of the Faculty's Operational Services and can be reached via the shared email, see contact details box.
