Get support in the research process

As a researcher at the Faculty of Social Sciences, you can receive support in the research process in various ways, including from the faculty's librarians, ethics advisors, research representative and data stewards.

Managing references 

There are several programs that can be used to manage your references. The software can help you collect, organise and insert citations and reference lists into documents.   

You can download the EndNote software via the Software Center. You can also use free tools, such as Zotero.

Managing your research data 

Ann-Sofie Zettergren is the faculty's data steward. Her role is to support you in managing research data according to legal requirements and security standards. She is also the faculty's link to the Research Data Office, which is currently being established at Lund University. See the contact box for more information. 

Get support from the faculty's research representative  

The research representative at the Faculty of Social Sciences is Professor Anna Meeuwisse (see the contact box). You can contact her for advice, guidance and informal confidential discussions of problems and dilemmas related to good research practice. This could include:  

  • research collaboration (intergenerational, interdisciplinary, transnational)  
  • authorship (especially co-publication)  
  • review (peer review, external expert assignments)
