The project in brief
The Faculty of Social Sciences' campus development project aims to maintain and develop an attractive and sustainable campus environment that supports our main tasks: education, research and collaboration.
Our contiuous work strives to create value for research and teaching. This means, for example, renovating and extending existing premises in Lund, Helsingborg and Malmö. It also involves creating attractive outdoor environments and promoting sustainable utilisation of our premises.
Upcoming construction projects include:
- where necessary, renovating Gamla Kirurgen (building R), Gamla paviljongen (building P) and Gamla Barnsjukhuset (building J)
- renovating Gamla Polikliniken (buildning M) and Gamla Barnbördshuset (building O)
- developing a centre for social sciences, including a library
- developing the Campus Paradis park area.
