Courses in higher education teaching and learning
The courses in higher education teaching and learning are mandatory for everyone who teaches at Lund University. Courses are offered by the Division for Higher Education Development as well as the faculties.
Lund University's employment act requires at least five weeks of course work for academic positions. This requirement is met by taking these courses:
- Teaching and learning in higher education
- Course design in higher education.
Doctoral students who teach are required to take at least the first of these two courses.
Teachers, who supervise students in doctoral education, must have undergone special supervisor training:
- Doctoral supervision - introduction
