Courses in higher education teaching and learning

Lund University offers several electable courses on teaching and learning for teaching staff. Courses are offered by the Division for Higher Education Development as well as the faculties.

At the Faculty of Social Sciences, the courses are open for

  • professors, researchers, senior lecturers, associate senior lecturers, postdocs, and lecturers (universitetsadjunkter)

  • doctoral students

  • teaching librarians and language consultants (only the course Teaching and learning in higher education, subject to availability).

  • those who have a minimum of 50 per cent employment for at least 12 months.

Course fee

The courses offered by the Division for Higher Education Development (AHU) are paid for by the Faculty of Social Sciences if you are admitted to the course and employed at the faculty. If, however, you fail to attend without having cancelled your registration at least 14 days prior to the start of the course, your department will be charged a fee.
