Renovation of Gamla lungkliniken (building G) 1 July 2023 – 31 March 2024

The building will get a new entrance facing north.

Now it is time for the renovation of Gamla lungkliniken. The building will be closed from 1 July 2023 to 31 March 2024. 

During the renovation, the house will get a new ventilation system and a slightly remodeled entrance facing north. In addition, individual workrooms will be refurbished and windows will be renovated.

The building will be blocked off with a construction fence (see red marking on the drawing). The footpath towards Paradisgatan will be open, as usual. 

There will be some transport of materials to the building, mainly via Sandgatan (blue arrow on the drawing).

The Department of Sociology evacuated to Allhelgonaskolan

The Department of Sociology, currently located in Gamla lungkliniken, will temporarily move to Allhelgonaskolan, Bredgatan 26.
