How to find the right journal for your research
Finding relevant journals can be challenging, whether you are an experienced researcher or new to the field. Book a session with one of our librarians to learn more about finding high-quality journals in your research field.
In this tutorial, you will submit your preliminary title of your article, along with the name of the journal or publisher that you have in mind, one week before our meeting. The librarian will then prepare some options for discussion. We will then meet to look at the different tools that can be useful when choosing a journal (or publisher) for publication.
We may also cover publication strategy and publishing choices. Together, we will discuss how these choices can influence the impact, accessibility and dissemination of your research.
This session is intended for doctoral students and researchers from all departments.
The meeting can take place on Zoom or at the library. We can accommodate a maximum of two participants to ensure personalised support for each researcher. Last day to register: 26 November.
