 the courtroom as a multifaceted and analytically rich site\, focusing on h
 ow control\, emotion\, and digital technologies shape legal proceedings\, 
 professional roles\, courtroom culture\, and\, more broadly\, contemporary
  forms of correction\, punishment and social control.We are proud to prese
 nt some of the field’s leading experts – Anna Tsalapatanis\, Louise Vi
 ctoria Johansen\, Cecilia Nordquist\, Thea Myrvang\, and Lisa Flower – w
 ho will each present a snapshop of the current state of the art\, bringing
  fresh perspectives\, which we hope will spark new ideas and challenge us 
 to think differently about how digitalisation shapes the courtroom as a si
 te of control and emotion.Drawing on fieldwork and theoretical insights\,
