Funding to develop research-related external engagement
Granted funding is to be used to develop collaborations with external actors with an aim to enrich the faculty’s research and highlight the role of the social sciences in society. PhD holders employed until further notice at the Faculty of Social Sciences, who do not have more than 30 percent of their position reserved for research, can apply for funding.

Funding for major research applications
The funding is to be used to produce a major national or international research application. The support can be used to finance working hours, for assistance in the form of a research assistant and/or for contact travel for parties involved in the project. Any PhD holder employed until further notice at the Faculty of Social Sciences can apply.

Faculty travel and research grants
The application period for the faculties’ travel and research grants is at the start of the spring and autumn semesters, normally in February and September.
Researchers, doctoral students, lecturers or readers at Lund University can apply for the grants. A few are also open to undergraduate students including Master’s students.

Faculty support for proofreading
The faculty offers support for proofreading of articles published in international journals. The support relates to proofreading costs for articles accepted for publication in international peer reviewed journals according to the following:
- When the article has been accepted for publication, but before it has been published, the acceptance letter and invoice for proofreading costs for the article are to be sent to the faculty, which reimburses costs of up to SEK 6 000 per article.
