Career Support - seminar for doctoral students and supervisors

The Research Studies Council and The Social Science Doctoral Student Council (SDR) of the Faculty of Social Sciences cordially invite you to a second seminar focused on career support for doctoral students.

A panel of experienced PhD supervisors will start the seminar with reflections and discussions on PhD career support. The panel consists of:
Henrik Gutzon Larsen, senior lecturer and director of studies at Department of Human Geography
Mia-Marie Hammarlin, senior lecturer and director of studies at Media and Communication Studies
Tove Harnett, senior lecturer at School of Social Work

The discussion will be followed by a presentation on Career Learning - a process through life, education and work by career counsellor Anna Hjalmers Mattsson.

 

About the seminar

The seminar series is aimed at everyone who supervises doctoral students, both experienced and new supervisors. The idea is to create an open forum for inspiration and exchange of experience, based on different themes that are relevant to supervisors
