The nomination letter below has been sent by e-mail to all staff at the Faculty of Social Sciences:
Nomination of candidates for the dean, deputy dean, and the Faculty Board for the term 1 January 2024 – 31 December 2026
The faculty is to elect its Faculty Board for a three-year term this autumn. The Board members comprise the dean, deputy dean, six members of teaching staff with research expertise, two members of other staff, and two external members.
The nominating committee is hereby asking to receive nominations of candidates for the dean, the deputy dean and faculty board members (teaching staff with research expertise, and other staff) for the period 1 January 2024 – 31 December 2026.
Entitled to vote and nominate are employees of Lund University who are employed at the Faculty of Social Sciences until further notice, or for a continuous period of at least two years and whose employment is equal to at least 50 per cent of full-time.
Holders of doctoral studentships are not entitled to vote or nominate as they are regarded as students in this context.
The nominee must have been asked and accepted the nomination. Nominating oneself is permitted. Nominations are to be sent to valberedning [at] sam [dot] lu [dot] se no later than 20 April 2023.
