With the name change, the department wants to convey clarity, professionalism and closeness to the research.
The name change means that "Service management" disappears from the department's title. The Bachelor's and Master's programmes offered by the department will still be called Service management.
The name change also means that the abbreviation used for web pages and e-mail addresses changes. The former ISM becomes SES (SErvice Studies). It will still be possible to send e-mails to employees' old e-mail addresses and visit old links with ism.lu.se during a transition period.
