While the number of first-choice applicants to the Faculty remains unchanged compared to last year, the total number of applicants has increased by three per cent.
The programmes with the largest percentage increases are:
- Master's programme in Welfare Policy and Management: (118; +48%)
- Master's programme in Sociology of Law: 126 (+34%)
- Master's programme in International Development and Management: 626 (+25%)
New Master's programmes in 2026
Two new Master's programmes will start in 2026:
- Master's programme in Innovation and Social Change
- Master's programme in Total Defence and Civil Preparedness
'Innovation and Social Change' received 253 applications in the international application round. The other programme, 'Total Defence and Civil Preparedness', will be taught in Swedish and will open for applications in the national application round on 16 March.
