Social resilience can be broadly understood as the ability of persons, groups or communities to withstand and recover from external stresses, such as environmental change or social, economic or political upheaval.
Successful candidates are expected to contribute to the collective effort of the faculty’s research agenda on social resilience.
The grant covers 20 percent of the salary costs for a year with the possibility to extend by one additional year. The successful candidate is supposed to add parts of her or his faculty funded research time to the granted 20 percent. The expected starting date is 1 March 2022.
