Research
Research at the Faculty of Social Sciences is carried on in the departments, units and research centres belonging to the faculty. Research activity is extensive. Apart from internal research and work on dissertations, most departments are involved in externally financed projects and international research collaboration. Research staff amounts to about 40 professors, 40 docents, 130 senior lecturers/associate professors, and 50 junior lecturers.
