The application session for programmes beginning in the autumn semester 2010 is between December 1, 2009 and January 15, 2010.
You apply online at studera.nu - this is the national Swedish site for university applications:
Swedish students may apply later, between March 15 and April 15, 2010, at www.studera.nu.
Your application must be supported by the following documentation,
sorted in the same order as this list. Put all documents in the same
envelope.
1. Cover sheet (from www.studera.nu).

Certificates and diplomas from previous education at an internationally
recognised university.

Transcripts of records (including course list). Sort them in reversed
chronological order, i e put the last received document on top.

A copy of your passport or some other document of identification.

Proof of English skills: Applicants, who do no have a degree from a
Nordic university or a degree from a university where the language of
instruction is English, must prove their proficiency in English with an
internationally recognized test, for example the TOEFL test. The
prerequisite in this respect is a TOEFL score of at least 550 (paper
based), 213 (computer based) or 79 (internet based) or an IELTS score of
at least 6.0 (none of the sections under 5.0).
6. Letter of intent: All applicants for the Master's Programmes in Development Studies, Gender Studies and Global Studies must submit a letter of intent. State in not more than 300 words why you want to attend this programme and what research interests you have. Be sure that your complete name is visible along with the name of the Master's programme and application code.

Lund University does not have any scholarships to offer. The Swedish Institute (SI) offers a limited number of scholarships every year, but competition is very tough. Students from all countries, except for the Nordic, can apply for the scholarships. To be able to apply for the scholarships, you need to apply to the masters programmes before January 15. Information about the Swedish Institute Scholarship Programs - Eligible Master's programmes - will be available from 15 December 2008.
